Secret 7", Evaluation - OUGD603
This brief has shown that I can produce a piece of work to a high standard using both traditional and digital methods of design. I have managed to produce the project in the allotted time frame as well as in time for the brief deadline. The brief was only meant to last 24 hours to produce the final design which it did and has shown that I can create work in this time frame without lowering quality for the final outcomes. If I were to extend this brief and design for each on of the tracks it may have taken a bit longer to produce a final outcome but they would still be up to the same standard. If I were to redo this brief I feel that more digital work could be added or even a background to the image even though the point of the white background was to make the image stand out from the negative space behind. I used watercolour to create the main body of the final piece and then edited within Adobe PhotoShop, I also used PhotoShop to edit the photographs taken in the photography studio. Once again photographing my work has shown useful to display my work in a more professional manor than as a generic mockup. Overall I enjoyed this project and would like to carry on designing in a similar fashion using both traditional and digital methods for my future projects.
