OUGD406 - Licence to Print Money, People's History Museum

An exhibition at the People's History Museum in Manchester proved to be quite useful for this brief. A brief look at the history of the banknote gave some useful insight into how the notes were made and why.
The brief is to redesign and possibly reinvent the bank note. This is a hugely open brief meaning that if we can show our reasoning behind our designs we can almost anything. Looking around the museum a lot of the money and ideas behind are celebrating history, the past. I haven't yet seen much to celebrate current times or the future. I would quite like to further research this and see if there is potential for a new idea to come along.
