These are the choices of tracks for this years Secret 7". I haven't heard of some of the songs in this selection which could be a good thing as it would mean that I could be completely fresh to it and could create a piece without any influence. On the other hand I could make a piece that is heavily based on my already made experience with the song.
I have brain stormed some ideas for the tracks to get some basic ideas out of my head and hopefully develop them further.
The first songs that jumped out at me were Etta James - At Last and John Lennon - Imagine. I thought that these would be favourites although did think that At Last may be quite a difficult one to design for. Asking around my class it seems more people are doing the less known songs which I can only think of quite obvious ideas for but could still maybe develop.
