This is my digital development for my song choice, At Last.
The idea for this was just to show a strong contrast of black and white taking a sort of 60s high contrast look.
These next few were produced in black and white and then I experimented with colour to take the idea into a similar style from the original album cover. The idea behind 247 is 24 7 a time frame for 'At Last' and also because the song came 2nd in the charts and 47th in the billboard hot 100 but I thought the idea was grasping at straws really.

Again using the idea of time for 'At Last' I decided to have nothing but the word Timeless. This would both give a time reference and also the idea that Etta James herself is timeless. I thought using the white space would make the piece more thoughtful and soft rather than shouting in your face.
I took the idea I had of using a clover with hearts as the leaves for the line, "My heart was wrapped up in clover..." I think the idea is the strongest I have so far but still needs improvement so I will have to look into colouring, positioning and after taking the piece to critique sessions I will take fresh ideas on board.
