I took the space idea through to digital and made vectors of the planets aligning them how I would like them to be displayed on my notes. I used the colours the planets are linked to as I thought familiarity would be key to a design like this. The order in which I have displayed the planets is based on my original design of putting the planets as if you were looking from the edge of our solar system back down to the sun as you hold it to the light.
